Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission

The House passed SB46, the medical marijuana bill, 68 to 34, then the Senate voted to concur.

Conservatives have vowed to continue filibustering the bill that would allow people with a medical need to obtain medical marijuana.

The legislation can now be considered by the full Alabama House of Representatives.

The House Health Committee will hold a public hearing on the legislation that would legalize medical marijuana.
