Ivey announces round of appointments

Gov. Kay Ivey made several appointments Wednesday to a number of state boards and commissions, including appointing the boards of trustees for six public universities. The appointments are listed below:

Appointed Joseph Brown, Michael Maddox, Jennifer Estes Agee, Matthew Lavender and Tom Perry to serve on the University of West Alabama board of trustees

Appointed Napoleon Bracy, Judge Tiffany McCord, Larry Means, George Gore, Mario Lumzy, Christopher Spencer and Judge Paulette Edwards to the Alabama State University board of trustees

Appointed William Ronald Graham, Dr. Steven P. Furr, Dr. Steven H. Stokes, Lenus M. Perkins, and Luis Gonzales to the University of South Alabama board of trustees

Appointed Kyle Buchanon to the University of North Alabama board of trustees

Appointed Tony Smoke to the Jacksonville State University board of trustees

Appointed Dennis Maze, Carnell McAlpine, Willis Floyd Cook Jr., Franke Speake, Hezekiah Early, Joey Harris and Art Sessions to the Board of Agriculture and Industries

Appointed Robert Sharpe to the Forestry Commission

Appointed Deborah Robinson to the Real Estate Commission

Appointed Judith Gilliam and Norma Lemley to the Rehab Services Board

Appointed H. Lester Barnett and Bebe Williams to the Alabama Public (Education) Television Commission
