World Games

Birmingham is a city that continues moving forward in a challenging and competitive climate.

A World Games spokesman told APR that officials are monitoring COVID and will follow guidelines of local public health authorities.

The World Games 2022 will take place from July 7 to 17 in Birmingham.

Before the bill was signed, major events were threatening to pull out of Alabama.

The first and second rounds of the 2023 Division I men’s tournament and the 2025 Division I women’s basketball southern regional will play out inside a newly revamped Legacy Area.
