As of Sunday night, 65,000 Alabama Power customers have not had power restored.

The state was still recovering from Hurricane Sally, which made landfall near Gulf Shores in September, and now it appears that Hurricane Zeta has left its own disaster area.

Delta hit the U.S. Gulf Coast near Creole, Louisiana, as a category two hurricane.

Hurricane Michael was the strongest hurricane to hit the United States coast in October since we have been recording hurricane strength.
