Alabama lawmakers moved Wednesday to include electronic nicotine delivery systems in the state’s indoor smoking ban while honoring Senator Vivian Figures.
Specifically, HB322 "would require the Alabama Medicaid Agency to cover screening and would also regulate how Medicaid covers prescription drugs used to treat postpartum depression."
The bill's sponsor, Sen. April Weaver, R-Brierfield, said that the legislation is "based on fundamental truths that are as old as the Book of Genesis."
