Trump-endorsed conservative John Wahl will hold a rally Saturday with country music performer Lee Greenwood at Brock’s Gap Brewing Company in Hoover.

The rally is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will serve as a get-out-the-vote event ahead of the election.

Greenwood is best known for “God Bless the U.S.A.,” which has been used as a theme song by President Donald Trump.

“I am incredibly excited to have Lee Greenwood join us in Alabama,” Wahl said. “Lee is a national treasure, and I am honored to have had the chance to get to know him and work with him over the years. He is not only an incredible performer, but also a true American patriot and a fighter for freedom.”

Wahl said the rally comes at a critical point in the race.

“This election comes down to a simple choice,” Wahl said. “Will Alabama be led by the same Montgomery insiders, or by leaders who believe in faith, freedom, family, and putting Alabama first?”

Wahl said he will stand with Alabama families, defend conservative values, protect election integrity, support law enforcement and veterans, fight for lower taxes and put Alabama voters ahead of what he called the Montgomery political machine.

“This Saturday is about sending a message,” Wahl said. “Alabama conservatives are tired of career politicians, tired of the status quo, and ready for a change. They are ready to stand with President Trump, get out and vote, and take back our state.”

Supporters, families, veterans, law enforcement, grassroots conservatives and Alabama voters are welcome to attend.
