Governor Kay Ivey participated Wednesday in the grand opening of the Alabama Veterans Resource Center, a public-private partnership and statewide hub aimed at connecting Alabama’s veterans and their families with services, opportunities and support.

During the 2025 Legislative Session, Ivey, the Alabama Legislature and business leaders established the center. Ivey said her goal is to make Alabama the number one state for veterans and their families.

Ivey was joined by members of her Cabinet, including Department of Workforce Secretary Greg Reed and Department of Veterans Affairs Commissioner Jeff Newton, among others.
