Alabama House Majority Leader endorses Tuberville for governor

Alabama House Majority Leader Scott Stadthagen, R-Hartselle, endorsed Tommy Tuberville for governor on Wednesday.

“I just got off of a phone call with Coach Tuberville and I told him he has my full support in his campaign to be Alabama’s next Governor,” Stadthagen said. “He is the right man for the job and I am looking forward to voting for him and, after he is elected, working with him to pass the most conservative legislative agenda in Alabama’s history.”

Stadthagen pointed to Tuberville’s close ties to President Donald Trump and said that relationship will benefit the state.

“Coach is completely on board with the Trump agenda and he knows how to get things done. He knows what is important to keep our state and this nation on the right track,” Stadthagen explained. “When it comes to fiscal responsibility, protecting children from radical liberal agendas, keeping manufacturing jobs in America and putting our values and our citizens first, Coach Tuberville is the man to lead that charge in 2026.”
