Nonprofit Prosper is pleased to announce the first two awarded recipient organizations for its recent Request for Proposal (RFP) process. REV Birmingham has been selected as the anchor organization for Magic City Match (MCM), an initiative funded by Prosper to help infuse capital, connections, and support into Black-owned businesses. The Birmingham Business Alliance (BBA) has been chosen as the anchor organization for Network Navigator, a virtual platform funded by Prosper to provide online and live assistance to existing and emerging businesses to help in their entrepreneurial journeys. 

Magic City Match will provide Black-owned businesses interested or located in Birmingham with real estate readiness training, building preparation, technical assistance, and growth grants to assist them with acquiring or maintaining their brick-and-mortar locations.  Network Navigator is a virtual platform coupled with live interaction to assist existing and emerging business owners with understanding the processes around starting and growing their business endeavors.
