Speaker Ledbetter to appear on Simply Southern TV

Alabama Speaker of the House Nathaniel Ledbetter will appear on Simply Southern TV in a featured interview with co-host Kevin Worthington.

The Rainsville representative, who has been a member of the state House of Representatives since 2014, was elected Speaker last month, succeeding Mac McCutcheon.

“I want to commend Speaker McCutcheon. He did an outstanding job and is a great man of moral fiber,” Ledbetter said during the interview with Simply Southern TV. “In the Legislature, we work across party lines. I was majority leader before becoming Speaker and had a chance to work with the minority leader. He and I are friends. I think, most of the time, we can come to common ground.”

Simply Southern TV, which is presented by the Alabama Farmers Federation and made possible through funding from various agriculture-based sponsors like Alabama Farmers Cooperative and Alfa Insurance, is broadcast nationally on the RFD-TV cable network.
