Lt. Gov. Will Ainsworth has raised $911,370 in the month of June for his re-election campaign, according to a campaign finance report filed Friday.

The Huntsville home construction company Breland and the Home Builders Association of Alabama’s political action committee Alabama Builders PAC donated Ainsworth’s two largest contributions to date, at $50,000 each.

The Alabama Power Company Employee’s State PAC donated $30,000 to Ainsworth, and Business Council of Alabama’s Progress PAC gave $25,000.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama also donated $25,000 as did the Alabama Forestry Association’s PAC and Gregory Rader, chairman of Mississippi-based Columbus Recycling.

Ainsworth, a realtor, real estate developer and farmer, was first elected lieutenant governor in 2018 after serving one term in the state House.
