Democratic Party Chairman Endorses Constitutional Amendments

From the Office of Judge Mark Kennedy, Chairman of the Alabama Democratic Party 

Montgomery – Judge Mark Kennedy, Chairman of the Alabama Democratic Party, announced yesterday which statewide constitutional amendments appearing on Tuesday’s ballot he supports and opposes. Chairman Kennedy took no position on amendments that are specific to any one particular county.

In an email to party supporters, Kennedy announced that he and his wife, Peggy Wallace Kennedy, had done their homework and arrived at the decisions below:

Amendment 1 – YES

Amendment 2 – YES

Amendment 4 – NO

Amendment 6 – NO

Amendment 7 – NO

Amendment 8 – NO

Amendment 9 – NO RECOMMENDATION

Amendment 10 – NO RECOMMENDATION
